PROGRAMME FOR 2025
​We have an exciting and varied program in the pipeline covering various aspects of weaving, spinning and dyeing ,some still to be confirmed.
​January 18th Tips for Knitting Better Fitting Garments- Our very own  Philippa Gates will run this workshop. The aim is to give you some tips and tricks so that you are happier with the finished size of the jumper/cardigan you have knitted.  Knitting takes a lot of time and can be expensive, depending on the yarn you use.  Many people can be disappointed with the fit of the garment once it is finished.
 
Please can you bring the following to the workshop:
 

• A garment pattern that you would like to knit
• The yarn you would like to use for that pattern
• Knitting needles, both the size recommended in the pattern and a size bigger and a size smaller
• Notebook and pen
• Tape measure
• A jumper or cardigan that you have that you are happy with and fits you well.  This can be a commercially produced garment.
• Calculator – the one on your smartphone is fine

 Or bringing along our own projects to work on and maybe, commencing work on  items for the 2025 Liz's Challenge
